Blocking out time

Coolest calendar ever? Possibly. Developed by a studio in the UK, this mounted time planner is made entirely of LEGO blocks. That in itself is pretty cute, but the cool factor comes in with the ability to transfer the data to your google calendar or iCal. All you need is a smartphone with a camera.



After taking a photo of the calendar on your smartphone, you are able to make magic happen by sending the photo to a special email address. The address is linked to software that scans the image, reads the colour and position of the lego pieces, and sends the data straight to your google calendar or iCal. Every row represents a month, every column represents a day of the week, every project has its own colour and each brick represents a half day spent on that project.

The Green Room Verdict: A fun, interactive, tactile way of keeping track of time, we're a fan of the LEGO calendar. Placing the calendar in full view of the workplace means that a quick glance is all it takes to gauge everyone's workload. Where can we get one?
