Converse have taken their famous sneakers to a whole new level with their new art projects. By mounting 500 Chucks on a wall with the ability to swivel left and right, Converse have created an interactive 'screen' that can display patterns, images and words. It may sound weird, but we reckon you'll get a 'kick' out of this video of The Canvas Experiment... read on to have a look.
Described as a 'digital, retail and artistic fusion experiment', the 5m x 4m interactive screen can be used for all kinds of things – from animations and films to video games and music equalizers. The Canvas can also be connected to a web cam where users can create silhouettes of their bodies.
The Green Room Verdict: Converse is about creating a 'world of engaging brand experiences with music, art and events', and they've nailed all three of these things with their canvas creation. This unique branding managed to pick up a swag of awards, namely a Silver Design Lion, a Silver Promo Lion and a Bronze Cyber Lion.
