The shoe's got sole

Need a little more rhythm in your step? adidas reckon you'll be sorted with their Original Mega shoe range, and have developed a fun website to really get your swagger going. "Part style. Part substance. All skill." Dubbed the 'Originals MEGA Shuffle', the website is ultimately a music mixer where visitors can create their own foot-tapping beats.

The site features pre-recorded tracks thanks to the brand's collaboration with beatboxing star Dharni (who is ranked number 1 in the world in his craft). Website viewers can mix and match between 32 clips featuring 48 dance clips to make their own original shuffle.

The Green Room Verdict: The 'Originals MEGA Shuffle' was inspired by the functional sole technology of the shoes fused with an urban beat. It's a fun way of interacting with the product's target audience, it has the tie in with originality, and once again we see the ability for users to share their musical creations with friends on Facebook and Twitter. Musical feet is also a theme adidas have used before in their 'Megalizer' idea, where shoes were rigged with sensors and could create different sounds depending on how the wearer stepped.
