Celebrating the power of curiosity

How do you condense 65 years of automotive innovation and engineering feats into a 100-second short film, while hinting at the future to come? The Honda 'Hands' spot is the answer – a video celebrating the ongoing curiosity of its engineers. The clip makes light work of Honda's many milestones and takes us on a magical journey that started with one Honda engineer and a lone bolt… from the company's Isle of Man TT-winning motorbikes to its famous robot, ASIMO ("konichiwa!"), this clip is an absolute pleasure to watch.

A testament to the "power of dreams", the clips takes us through from motorcycles to supercars, farm bikes, people movers, lawn mowers and jets. Those of us who only know Honda as a car company may be surprised at just how much exploration the company has done in many different areas of engineering.

The Green Room Verdict: This clip calls out to the kid in all of us – it's just plain fun to watch! We love it when the water is squeezed out of the hydrogen powered car into a cup, and subsequently consumed by the engineer. We're excited to see what other Honda creations are awaiting in the future ahead, because let's face it, the 'Hands' clip celebrating 130 years of engineering will be pretty amazing.
