How many times have you been disappointed in the performance of product, despite all the promises the packaging made? Well, this neat idea ensures the buyer that their product does what it says it will. Custom made vending machines containing Corelle chip-resistant dinnerware show purchasers that when they say their product will never chip, they really mean it.

While the brand awareness of the Corelle product is currently quite low, these attention grabbing, plate filled vending machines build awareness by attracting curious passer-bys. They can purchase a plate of their choosing, watch it fall to the bottom of the contraption and collect it – without a chip in sight. 

The Green Room Verdict: It's a clever way of demonstrating the feature of the product while doubling as a unique sales channel. A bit hard to tell from the angle of the photos, but we wouldn't mind knowing what the bottom of the machine was made of – just to be sure. This little idea boosted Corelle sales by 10% in a month (but we reckon they'd do even better if they also stocked plates without flowery and leafy designs all over them).
